Art is the process or product of deliberately arranging elements in a way that appeals to the senses or emotions. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music and literature. The meaning of art is explored in a branch of philosophy known as Aesthetics.

The definition and evaluation of art has become especially problematic since the early 20th century. Richard Wollheim distinguishes three approaches: the Realist, whereby aesthetic quality is an absolute value independent of any human view; the Objectivist, whereby it is also an absolute value, but is dependent on general human experience; and the Relativist position, whereby it is not an absolute value, but depends on, and varies with, the human experience of different humans. An object may be characterized by the intentions, or lack thereof, of its creator, regardless of its apparent purpose. A cup, which ostensibly can be used as a container, may be considered art if intended solely as an ornament, while a painting may be deemed craft if mass-produced.

Traditionally, the term art was used to refer to any skill or mastery. This conception changed during the Romantic period, when art came to be seen as "a special faculty of the human mind to be classified with religion and science". Generally, art is made with the intention of stimulating thoughts and emotions.

The nature of art has been described by Richard Wollheim as "one of the most elusive of the traditional problems of human culture". It has been defined as a vehicle for the expression or communication of emotions and ideas, a means for exploring and appreciating formal elements for their own sake, and as mimesis or representation. Leo Tolstoy identified art as a use of indirect means to communicate from one person to another. Benedetto Croce and R.G. Collingwood advanced the idealist view that art expresses emotions, and that the work of art therefore essentially exists in the mind of the creator. The theory of art as form has its roots in the philosophy of Immanuel Kant, and was developed in the early twentieth century by Roger Fry and Clive Bell.Art as mimesis or representation has deep roots in the philosophy of Aristotle.

INTERVIEW WITH GOD

I dreamed I had an interview with
god

God asked

So you would like to interview me

I said ,If you have the time

God smiled

My time is eternity

What questions do you have in mind
for me

What surprises you most about human
kind

God answered

That they get bored with child hood

They rush to grow up and then

long to be children again

That they lose their health to make
money

and then

lose their money to restore their
health

That by thinking anxiously about the
future

They forget the present

such that they live in nether the
present

And not the future

That they live as if they will never
die

and die as if they had never lived

God's hand took mine and

we were silent for a while

And then I asked

As the creator of people

What are some of life lessons you
want them to learn

God replied with a smile

To learn they can not make any one
love them

but they can do is let themselves be
loved

To learn that it is not good to
compare themselves to others

To learn that a rich person is not
one who has the most

but is one who needs the least

To learn that it takes only a few
seconds to open profound wounds in
persons we love

and it takes many years to heal them

To learn to forgive by practicing
for giveness

T o learn that there are persons who
love them dearly

But simly do not know how to express
or show their feelings

To learn that two people can look at
the same thing

and see it differently

To learn that it is not always
enough that they be forgiven by
others

The must forgive themselves

And to learn that I am here

ALWAYS

Don`t overestimate the brain

Never underestimate the powers of the brain.Brain, one human organ scientists really don`t understand.they say we only use 10%of it.and i`m sure they`re right. But just for a moment ,i wonder if you could amuse me ,as i suggest another possibility.

maybe, just maybe ,your mind is the cause of all your limitation.it`s my belief every thought essentially limiting.

it is the brain that stops an experience being merely an experience and reinforces it with labels, such as pain or suffering.

it is the brain that remembers that you have a bad habit and tells you that you have it .

it is the brain that links certain situation with feeling happy,or feeling sad.

maybe you`re already whole and complete and free, but you dont yet realize it.

maybe--again,just maybe--you`re absolutely every thing you need to be,resticting yourself by the thoughts you`re holding in your mind.

Ultimately, the brain really is the world`s most poweful computer, but it`s only that.

A computer

It records.It plays back.It records.It plays back.

That`s great.sure, dont underestimate your powerful brain.

but dont overestimate it either.

the brain is not you.you are not your brain.you are not your body.

if you really take the time out to sit back and think about it,you will probably scence that there is more to you than your brain and physical body.

and when you start to discover that ,you will discover an eternal freedom that can never be taken away.

every thing you thought was a problem, every bad habit you ever had, every way in which you identify  yourself...

...they`re all just labels created by the brain.they`re all just LlMITING THOUGHTS.

tnx 4 ur attention

The life in your years

Master Yen asked his student what he most desired.

His student sat back for a moment and then replied :"I wish for a long life,Master Yen"

The master smiled.

"But a long life is a blessing to same and a cures to others. It isn`t how long you live for but what you do with your time that matters."

And there is the wisdom.

Life is wonderful! There is so much to see and do that a life-time isn`t  really enough.

How ever ,so many are often  pre-occupied with negetive, trivial or time -wasting things-such as dwelling on the past ,worring or arguing over insignificant things, procrastinanting ,living within comfort zones or living someone else`s life through reality television.

There is a fantastic quote by Abraham  Lincolon that says:"...It`s not the years in your life that counts. It`s the life in your years."

"Life is not measured by it`s length...But by it`s depth"

Thnks for your attention.
